Pawan Kalyan back on Ustaad Bhagat Singh sets, makers release video

Actor and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, has officially joined the shoot of his much-anticipated action entertainer ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’. The actor, who recently completed ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ and ‘They Call Him OG’, has now allotted dates for this film.

On June 6, the makers released a behind-the-scenes video on X, where Pawan Kalyan is seen joining the sets and interacting with the cast. In the clip, the actor is seen holding a gun with trademark swag, giving fans a thrilling glimpse into the film’s high-octane action vibe.

Directed by Harish Shankar, the film is a mass-action cop drama and marks a reunion of the actor-director duoafter their successful collaboration with ‘Gabbar Singh’. The film is rumoured to be a remake of Thalapathy Vijay’s Tamil film ‘Theri’.

The film also stars Sreeleela as the female lead and is being produced on a grand scale by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, who is currently on a winning streak. Cinematography is by Ayananka Bose, with editing handled by Ujjwal Kulkarni.

‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ has been in the pipeline considering Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments as Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and various other factors.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan has been swiftly completing his film commitments. He finished dubbing for ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ and wrapped up shooting for the much-awaited ‘OG’. Directed by Sujeeth, ‘OG’ is a high-octane action spectacle also features Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Prakash Raj, and Sriya Reddy.
