This 1968 Lancia Fulvia Berlina GT is said to have remained under the care of its prior owner for approximately four decades in Italy before it was acquired by the seller and imported to the US in 2019. Finished in dark blue over red vinyl, the car is powered by a 1.2-liter narrow-angle V4 mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. It rides on 14″ white-finished steel wheels paired with disc brakes at all four corners and is further equipped with Carello headlights, a Matador left mirror, and a Blaupunkt push-button radio. Work performed under current ownership is noted to have involved installing a Facet electric fuel pump as well as resealing the fuel tank and replacing brake master cylinder, front brake calipers, and tires. This Berlina GT is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a previous Italian libretto, and a clean California title in the seller’s name that lists the vehicle as a 1969 model.

The Fulvia Berlina was designed by Antonio Fessia to supersede the Appia and was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1963. The revised Berlina GT was revealed at the same show in 1967 with a larger 1.2L engine. This Series I example is finished in blue and features quadruple Carello headlights, a Matador fender-mounted left mirror, a locking fuel door, and chrome bumpers and trim.

The 14″ steel wheels are finished in white and are fitted with Lancia-branded hubcaps. Work in 2020 is noted to have involved installing 175/70 Thunderer Mach I tires with replacement inner tubes as well as outfitting the four-wheel disc brake system with a replacement brake master cylinder and front calipers.

The cabin houses individual front seats and a rear bench trimmed in red vinyl that extends to the door panels, and metal trim adorns the black dashboard. A Blaupunkt Turin M14 push-button radio is mounted in the glovebox, and retrofitted USB outlets have been added. A heater, rubber floor linings, and shoulder belts for the front occupants are further appointments. Stitching repairs have been made along the front and rear seating surfaces, both of which are worn.

The two-spoke steering wheel has a metal horn ring and wears an aftermarket lace-up cover. Instrumentation consists of a band-style speedometer flanked by a 7k-rpm tachometer and gauges monitoring fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 71k kilometers (~44k miles), approximately 3k of which have been added under current ownership.

The 1.2-liter DOHC narrow-angle V4 is equipped with dual side-draft Solex carburetors and a FISPA air cleaner. The seller notes that a Facet electric fuel pump was installed and the fuel tank was re-sealed under current ownership. The battery was replaced and  an oil change was performed in anticipation of the sale.

Power is sent to the front wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. Corrosion is visible along the underside, additional photos of which are shown in the gallery below.

The chassis tag above shows type number 818.210 along with chassis number 023910, the latter of which is listed as the VIN on the current California title.
