Two of the three RJD MLAs who were expelled on Sunday joined Janta Dal United in presence of senior JD-U leaders and ministers in Bihar cabinet Vijendra Yadav and Sharwan Kumar. In fact, Ashok Kumar Kushwaha who was not sacked yesterday also joined the JD-U.
Earlier, on Sunday RJD expelled three of its sitting MLAs for anti party activities. They are Faraz Fatmi, son of former Union Minister MAA Fatmi, Maheshwar Yadav and Prema Chaudhary. Maheshwar was, off late, very critical of RJD chief Lalu Yadav. Prema Chaudhry represents Patehpur in Vaishali District. She was once considered very close to Lalu Rabri family.
Apart from the three who on Monday joined JD-U, two other MLAs, i.e., Lalu’s samdhi Chandrika Rai and Faraz Fatmi are likely to switch over to Janta Dal United soon.
It needs to be recalled that M A A Fatmi had resigned from RJD last year after being denied ticket from Darbhanga Lok Sabha seat. He had later joined Janta Dal United. Faraz is Presently in Delhi and stated that he would take a future course of action after going to the masses. He is a political green hound and represents the Kyuti Assembly constituency in Darbarbhanga.
On the other hand Chandrika is upset with the Lalu Yadav family because of the marital discord between her Ashwarya Rai and Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of RJD. On social media Chandrika is asking his followers to join Jatna Dal United. He represents Parsa in Saran District.
RJD has recently inducted Chandrika’s niece Karishma Rai into the party. Another influential leader of Parsa who represented the Assembly constituency between 2005 and 2015, Chote Lal Rai recently met with Lalu Yadav in Ranchi. Chote Lal is expected to join RJD soon.
