Even as the vaccination campaign for the Corona virus pandemic has started in the United States and elsewhere in the world, an Iranian origin geriatric oncologist Dr. Hossein Sadrzadeh said he had a severe reaction almost immediately after being vaccinated, feeling dizzy and with a racing heart. According to a New York Times report, the Boston based cancer expert developed this symptom on Thursday. This is the first case of a severe reaction publicly linked to Moderna’s vaccine. It was only earlier this week that Moderna had launched its vaccination campaign in the United States.
Dr Sadrzadeh is an Internal Medicine Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated with honors in 2006. He has more than 14 years of experience. He is affiliated with many hospitals including Boston Medical Center.
Surveys in the United States suggest that there is a lot of scepticism among health-care workers regarding the Corona Vaccine.
To dispel the fear among the common masses President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President Mike Pence publicly got themselves vaccinated a few days back.
In the United States, more than 1,28,000 people had been vaccinated till Friday while in the United Kingdom, the figure stands at 1,37,000.
