TNW, Aug.02, New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah tested Corona virus positive on Sunday, the day 62 years old Utter Pradesh Technical Education Minister, Kamal Rani Varun died of the pandemic. The Home Minister has been advised by the doctors to be admitted in hospital. In a tweet he said that he undergone the diagnosis after developing initial symptoms for the virus.
He stressed that his health is in fine condition while appealing to the people who came in contact with him in last few days, to isolate themselves and get tested.
As Union Home Minister, Amit Shah has been quite active in dealing with the Corona Virus crisis and subsequent lock downs. Besides, he has been in forefront for the preparation of upcoming elections in Bihar and West Bengal. Incidentally, he has been tested positive only three day before the grand foundation laying ceremony of Ram Mandir.
On Saturday, Shah addressed a webinar ‘Lokmanya Tilak: Sawaj to Atmanirbhar Bharat’ organized by ICCR Delhi on the 100th death anniversary of Lokmanya Tilak, ANI reported.
On the other hand, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath cancelled his visit to Ayodhya on Sunday, following the death of his cabinet minster Kamal Rani Varun.
