A man from Worsley is one of four who have been charged with smuggling cocaine through Manchester Airport.

Dale Creen, 34, of Mere Fold, Worsley, and Dale Hosker, 49, of Palatine Road, Bury, have been charged in relation to the National Crime Agency (NCA) probe.

Albanian nationals Elton Hallaci, 31, of Adlam Road, Liverpool, and Artur Iseberi, 27, of Aintree Lane, Liverpool, have also been charged.

The offences are alleged to have been committed in May last year.

The suspects were charged last night and will appear today, Wednesday, at Manchester Magistrates’ Court.

Two other men who were arrested yesterday, Tuesday, were released on bail.

The investigation continues.

On Tuesday, an NCA spokesperson said: “These arrests were made as part of a long running investigation.

"The NCA works at home and abroad to fight the Class A drugs threat.”
